Augmented Reality
What is Augmented Reality (AR)?
From Wikipedia (http://en NULL.wikipedia NULL.org/wiki/Augmented_reality):
Augmented reality (AR) is a term for a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.
Augmented Reality from Madison Solutions
We have been working with a form for AR that enables a smart phone app (currently available for iPhone, Android coming soon) to see a recognised graphic or marker, then augment reality by rendering an image or 3d object within the scene. For an example of this, please see the AR:Tz Trail in Brighton (http://www NULL.ARTzTrail NULL.com/).
If your business sells products, then you could have a marker set up that will render one of your products. This marker could be placed:
- Outside your shop
- In a printed magazine or newspaper advert
- On the side of your van
- On a billboard advertisement
If you’d like to find out how you can utilise the latest technology to promote your business, then contact (http://www NULL.madisonsolutions NULL.co NULL.uk/contact) Madison Solutions today.
Download the ART:z app – hold device over marker – be amazed!
